Why is learning important to us?

Learning, adapting, sharing, passion and curiosity – these are some of the key JourneyOne values that support our core principles.

J1ers are a naturally curious species. They are driven to learn and continuously develop their skills, and our learning program (JLearn) nurtures and supports that journey.

JLearn is another way that we help make our People Journeys remarkable, and in turn deliver remarkable Client Journeys.

We invest in our people and recognise their accomplishments. We believe in their potential and support their curiosity, their passion and their continuous learning journeys.

What do we mean by a learning organisation?

JourneyOne is a learning organisation and that means we do much more than simply send J1ers on external training days.

We have a dynamic bunch of talented, knowledgeable and qualified people right here in our own ranks. So why not bring them together and foster a proper learning community? And so we’ve developed our own internal learning program: JLearn.

The cogs of JLearn are turning all year long, with something happening across one part or the other almost every week.

What are our learning programs?

JourneyOne’s internal learning program is broken down into three streams to help cater to everyone’s individual goals. All of these streams drill down into the latest technology and new ways of working to ensure our people are continually in touch with the latest thinking and enhancing their capabilities.


JAware: building awareness


JAware training provides access to short videos, articles and presentations to provide awareness and to inspire further learning.

Our JAware program includes...
Scrum Product Owner, Blockchain, IoT, Mental Health and Resilience, Visual Sketching, and more.


JAcademy: building knowledge


JAcademy training is hands-on, complemented with collaborative workshops for learning from J1ers via real life case studies.

Our JAcademy workshops include...
IoT, Human-Centred Design, Live Sketching, Leader as a Facilitator, Design Thinking, Agile (SAFe® and LeSS), and more.


JTrain: building skills


JTrain courses are experiential in nature, following a case study throughout multiple modules to drive plenty of practical discussion and learnings.

Cloud Practitioner, Agile Delivery (Scrum), DevOps, and more.
