Our Story

About JourneyOne

JourneyOne's own journey began in 2010 in Perth, Western Australia. We spent our early years in Spacecubed, Perth's co-working and innovation hub.

As we continued to grow and diversify, we moved to our own space in West Perth in 2018 (modestly referred to as the 'Hut').

JourneyOne was founded on a set of principles that put people front and centre: both our own people ('J1ers') and, of course, our clients. Our mission, ambition and values sit firmly at the core of everything we do. True to our humble beginnings, we remain nimble, flexible and easy to collaborate with.

Our people

J1ers are experts in their fields, able to stand alongside the best talent from the most prestigious global consulting companies. But we're not boxed in with traditional consulting titles; instead, we have Trek Roles.

J1ers are multi-disciplined and continually learning new skills. We keep abreast of the latest thinking and developments globally, and know how to translate them for practical application in WA.

We're a diverse and inclusive bunch of people from many walks of life; we're simply united by our drive to create remarkable journeys.

Our communities

We play an active role in the local tech community, supporting Perth's Digital Transformation Meetup and AWS User Group as organisers and hosts, and partnering with some of Perth's most inspiring tech events, such as YOW!, Women in Technology WA and DDD.

The JourneyOne principle of caring for people also extends to the wider community. Throughout 2022-23, we are supporting two causes championed by our people: the Leukaemia Foundation and Hello Initiative.
