If this resonates, then JourneyOne may be organisation you are looking for. We are seeking like-minded passionate Scrum Masters, or experts in other agile ways of working, to join our Agile and Product Management team.
As a JourneyOne Scrum Master, you get the opportunity to deliver innovative solutions to some of WA’s leading organisations by:

  • Working on cutting-edge projects with our valued clients
  • Coaching teams to adopt the agile ways of working
  • Coaching and supporting the Scrum Teams to ensure clear scope, goals, understanding and management of the product and ways of working within the team
  • Helping the team to overcome delivery blockers
  • Working with Product Owners to deliver the vision
  • Working alongside (and coaching if necessary) new Product Owners in new squads
  • Working with Project Managers to manage risk, cost and change management
  • Participating in the JourneyOne Agile and Product Management Community

Skills, experience and traits of a JourneyOne Scrum Master:

  • Scrum Master certification and at least 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master on medium- to large-scale complex projects across all phases of the delivery cycle
  • In-depth knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and techniques (including Scrum and Kanban) and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, testing methodologies, backlog management)
  • Proven experience of facilitating Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams
  • Proven coaching and management experience in an Agile/Scrum environment such as:

    • Building cohesive high performing teams
    • Coaching teams, individual team members and stakeholders on the agile way of working and a value focussed growth mindset
    • Coaching new to mature Product Owners to help their teams to be successful in delivering valuable work
    • Advising and assisting teams to understand value and how to be able to deliver value frequently
    • Supporting teams in communicating with the wider organisation on the successes and challenges they face
  • The ability to overcome issues, remove impediments and blockers as well as identify dependencies and risks
  • Experience of proactive detection and constructive resolution of conflicts whilst maintaining relationships
  • A passion for ensuring your squads live by the values, behaviours and practices of Agile/scrum
  • Experience using a variety of planning tools and collaboration tools is preferable but not essential, e.g. Jira, Miro, ADO, MURAL
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and stakeholder management skills
